Guess I'm not the "us" they're talking about for this title.
Nothing appealing about this for me... to the point that I couldn't even listen through every track to find a favorite & least favorite.
Too much good music to waste my time listening to things that don't do it for me.
Actually, just finished skipping through, and the final track "Soldier" isn't awful, but I probably wouldn't add it to the rotation.

beautiful, eerie and overall very enjoyable.  I think she did a good job of capturing her surreal experience in an MRI machine and representing it musically. Read her explanation here
I like that it's not all sad, shoe-gazey stuff tho: she rocks out a bit too, on "Trick Pony"
I also like the driving rhythm of "Voyage"

What can I say? I like Hot Chip. This album is more of the same from them: energetic pop-electro.

Soldier Of Love - Sade

I had the unique opportunity to work on a music video for the song "Babyfather", the 2nd single from this album, about 2 weeks ago. For those of you familiar with production & the headaches accompanying it, you know music videos are the WORST and I try to avoid them at all costs. (The last one I did before this was "I'm On A Boat" over a year ago!) But this one was actually ok. Even though the hours were long and the budget was surprisingly low, at least the song is charming and didn't grate on my nerves, even after innumerable takes with playback. Now that's the sign of a quality song!

Really, the whole album is solid. it's hard to choose a favorite, so instead, I'm linking to a remix of "Soldier of Love" with Raheem Devaughn.
